I Took Robin's Egg and She Got Franken Mad

I didn't think I would love this one as much as I do! I definitely like it better on the nail than in the bottle! I picked up Pure ICE Splash, looked at  it and wondered about frankening with it. So I grabbed some blues and had at it. I don't remember what all I used for this other than Splash, but it looks sort of robin's egg blue like the Crayola crayon to me. I don't have a name for it yet, but I love, love, love it! =)

I just searched Google for this image:

On to the nails:

I actually love this color so much that I am debating painting my nail polish/crafts/homework/library/etc room this color!

Or I may have to attempt at recreating this piece of art for the room instead to incorporate the color:

I love that artwork!

Anyway, a few days after applying 3 coats of this franken, I decided to jazz it up just a bit because I can never leave well enough alone and have a hard time not doing something extra to a plain color, no matter how pretty it is! =P I applied some dried flowers that I got off of eBay. My first run with dried flowers was a huge fail, so I wanted to use some smaller ones and see if I could learn to love them.

I think the flowers really springify this look! Not necessarily so fall appropriate, but that's okay. =) Sadly, I am still just not a huge fan of dried flowers. They're alright, but they aren't my favorite nail decor item!

Have you tried dried flowers? What do you think of them?

Thanks for stopping by. Everyone have wonderful weekend!! =)
