Inside with flash

So I watched 3 episodes of some show the other night where they showed off ridiculously lit up houses done by Christmas light-enthusiasts in the U.S. and Europe. So I was inspired to do this look.

I actually debated not even showing you guys this mani. Not because it's terrible but because I see so many things that I wish I would have done to improve the look. 

Inside, no flash

My "strings" aren't nearly has straight, nor do they have the even thickness that I would like for them to.

They look alright from far away, but not so much close-up! =P

They were pretty easy, though!!

To achieve this look, I started off with a base of 2 coats of Sinful Colors Envy and added a little bit of glitter, Pure ICE Oh Baby!, then finished the rest by mixing acrylics for different colors! I added white to lighten the colors for the highlights on the light bulbs and sealed it all in with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat.

What do you think? Complete nail fail or wearable?
