2012 Color Trends

Holly from Hooked contacted me about participating in a big presentation, if you will, of 2012 nail polish color trends!

Each color is going to be featured on different blogs today, and I will be showing you tangerine, a bright, bold, but not too Halloweeny, redish orange.

For this look, I ended up mixing half-and-half, Kleancolor Neon Orange and NYC Times Square Tangerine; however, on the nail, it came out looking very similar to Times Square Tangerine, only a bit brighter.

The tangerine isn't to be a neon, but more of a loud, retro color.

NYC polishes, that I have seen, are only $1-2. I got the Kleancolor on Beauty Joint for $1.75 but I am not sure what they retail for at full price; but both are very attainable polishes at a very low price! The pictures taken in indirect sunlight are the most color-accurate on this one.

Be sure to check out the rest of the participating bloggers for the other 6 must-have nail colors for this Spring!

Nails by Ms. Lizard is doing pistachio nails
Hooked has foundation nails
Pretty Purple Polish is doing new blues
Art Evolve is showing off sophisticated pastels
Polish Obsession is doing fierce fuchsia nails
and
Polish & Charms is showing modern neon nails

The original article about these colors can be seen here.

According to said article, "Offbeat orange and retro mod brights straight out of the swinging '60s will be big for 2012... Orange will be a big color... and bright corals (orange with red pigment) will be popular".

What color will you be sporting most this coming season? I am a pretty big fan of the pistachio and foundation looks!

 Buenos días. =)
