Edie vs. Age of Aquarius

Sorry I have been a little MIA in replying, posting and commenting lately. My internet provider SUCKS and my internet likes to randomly drop and either takes a lot of resetting to get back on, or just decides to come back whenever it feels like it.

But anyway, I recently purchased Color Club's Edie and Age of Aquarius. They look very similar in the bottle. Edie is just a tad darker. I wanted to try them out, though and see them on the nail for my own satisfaction.

Left to right: pinkie is Age of Aquarius, ring finger is Edie, middle is AoA and index finger is Edie. Both pictures are in indirect sunlight.

Overall, they are very similar. Edie is more green while Age of Aquarius is more aqua. Both took 3 coats for opacity, but AoA seemed to dry simi-matte; though top coat remedies that.

With both, the brush didn't seem to want to pick up and hold polish very well. I had to almost treat them like nearly empty polishes even though they're both brand new. I had to dip the brush all the way into the bottle and wipe off very little, whereas with other brand new bottles, you barely have to put the brush into the bottle to get a lot of polish on the brush. So I don't know if this is just a Color Club thing, but I'm not a fan.

I had a strange dry-time experience with them both, too. The first coat seemed to take a century to dry, but the latter coats dried fairly fast. Again, I don't know if this is just a Color Club thing or not. I have a few of their polishes but have never used them for a full mani.

In the end, I'd say owning both of these could be justified. Although they are very similar, one is a green and one is an aqua. Their difference in color is fairly easy to see by anything other than a quick glance, so they are different enough that they aren't dupes.

Do you own either of these polishes? Which do you prefer? Or would you rather stay away from Color Club period?

Buenos días. =)

Thank you!! ^.^ These are the only two I have really tried and done full manis with so far, so I was just really hoping that every bottle isn't so difficult to deal with! =P
They are both gorgeous! I think I like edie better!

Thanks! I can't decide which one I like more. Purely for application and opacity reasons, AoA is better but idk... =P

I've never tried Color Club polishes :( But I would probably pick AOA out of those two polishes. Regardless, both look very pretty.

Thank you!! This is my first experience with them, so I just hope every bottle isn't so difficult!

Thanks, I have one of their glitters to try, too. I hope it isn't terrible!!
I like both, but I like AOA a little more haha. I haven't had problems with Color Clubs...hopefully none in the future too. The only problem I've had with them is their flakie polishes. They're a bit goopy

Thanks! I haven't tried their flakies yet. I hope I don't have anymore problems with them, though!
