The Sun is Sleeping on the Job

I got a couple of L.A. Girl matte polishes while at Pamida when I went to visit my mom. I don't have many mattes, so I figured I needed to expand that area of my collection. =D

This one is Matte Blue Twilight and I added the dots with a plain L.A. Colors top coat. I thought it was really neat and looked like raindrops!

I wasn't able to get a very good picture, but I still like how it turned out. Except when I woke up, it'd smudged terribly so I had to remove it.

What's your favorite matte polish?

That does look so cool!! It really does look like rain drops! My favourite matte nail polish is the matte top coat from Sephora by O.P.I. I find it is an excellent quality top coat to turn any colour truly matte. :D

I'm not a fan of matte, personally, but this isn't the first post I've seen using the dots as a contrast, either matte dots on shine, or shine on matte, and I really like the effect! I may have to buy a matte top coat -just- for this purpose...

It does look like rain drops! I like it. However, I don't like matte polishes. I love the look of it, but just not the polish itself. I do like the matte topcoats though, they work much better for me!

This is a cool effect! I'm not a big matte fan-I prefer SHINY!!!! I do own some matte polish, I just put a top coat on them!
