Swatch Fest Day 6

Today I have Claires Cotton Candy scented polish. This one was very difficult to work with. The first two fingers have topcoat, the second two don't. And there's hardly a noticeable difference. It is very much a topcoat consumer! As well, the glitter completely disappears on the nail and it ends up just looking chunky and nasty instead.

On top of that, it was impossible to photograph color-accurately. It has more green to it than it is showing. I even tried it against different colors, but nothing worked:

It is close, but not spot-on.

I have two others of these: a pink and a green. I hope they behave better than this one!

Have you ever had any problems with Claires polishes?

Buenos días. =)

It really does dry with a rough surface, but the color is great :)

I haven't tried these scented ones but I definitely have had trouble capturing similar colors with my camera--so frustrating.

Hum! I think you are right the glitter does seems a bit chunky after the colour is dry.

I think they would have been better off to have just left it out completely!

It's so weird! I've never seen a glitter polish act like that!
