A nail whitening technique that actually works?!

Yes, you read right.

If you follow me on instagram, then you have already seen this, but I found a great way to whiten your nails for those who are interested!

I didn't take any beforehand pictures because I didn't expect it to actually work, plus I could really care less about whitening my nails since I always wear polish; I was just bored and playing around. (If I do a tip design, I just use a sheer nude as a base to eliminate the stains).

That's right, denture tablets.

I used one per nail in just enough warm water to cover my fingers, and let them soak for 3 minutes. I was really amazed at how much of the staining it took away - nearly all of it!! ^.^

This isn't something I'll be doing again in the near future, but the results were too impressive not to share!

Let me know if you try it out and how it works for you!

P.S. Since I could have a baby any time soon, the majority of my posts are going to be scheduled for the rest of the month so I won't have to worry about them when she gets here! I will still be replying, commenting, and so forth as often as a can, up until she comes, though! :)

It's still just a tad early. She's not due until the 29th, I just wanted to make sure I was covered! ^.^ Happy early birthday! :) I'll definitely show her off once she gets here!
Awesome!! I have heard of people doing this but I doubted that it actually worked. You've sold me!

I hadn't heard of this and I was really skeptical. I figured it wouldn't work at all, but I was so amazed!
I hope everyting goes well with you and the little one, I would love to see a picture when she is finally in your arms :)

Thank you! I'll definitely spam everyone with pictures when she gets here! ^.^
What a great tip. I had my nails green for St. Patrick's Day and they stayed stained for months. I'm excited for you and your baby!

I was just playing around, I was so surprised it worked! I'm ready for her to be here, any day now! ^.^
Wow I'm going to have to try this. I got some staining from a teal polish I wore and I buffed most of it out, but still want to whiten it a bit! Take it easy when your bundle of joy arrives!

Oh cool! I remember buying a nail whitening thing and I'm pretty sure they were just crushed denture tablets! Hahaha.

Congratulations on being so close! Are you excited?!

I never thought denture tablets would work! Such a great, cheap way to whiten, though!

I'm excited! Any day now she'll be here and I'm ready. I'm so over being fat and so hot that I'm miserable! Haha.
thanks for sharing! it's pretty cool that this worked! lol :D

I was skeptical! I was really surprised that it worked, but I'm glad it did!
Nice results! This would have been useful last week when my nails turned blue from a polish. Will keep this in mind for future use! :D

Amazing, always wanted a solution to yellowing nails after certain polishes! Good luck with the baby :) http://www.opinionatedaboutopi.blogspot.ca/

Thank you! :) I was really surprised at how well it worked!
Do you have a Youtube channel as well with this kind of content on it? I would love to see this post turned into a longer video if possible. Maybe I can share on it on my website.
