Butter London - Marrow

Marrow from Butter London is a gorgeous dusty eggplant purple with a very light silver or lavender (I can't tell which) shimmer running through it. The shimmer wasn't very apparent on the nail, but it is a bit more in the bottle.

I received this beauty from Polish and Charms and it is gorgeous! She sent me lots of "firsts" and this is one of them, my very first ever BL! Even better still, it is one of the only purples I own that will photograph color-accurately with no arguing or fighting, so I love it even more! ^.^

Wow I like this color a lot but the name not so much. Whenever I think of marrow I picture the whitish red gloop we harvest from the hips of patients and how agonizing it is. Lol just thinking of the word marrow gives me chills! Your nails have gotten so long too :)

Lol I was thinking the same thing when I saw the name! I actually kinda like it! Thanks!! I haven't decided if I really like them longer or not. Long nails on other people look great, but sometimes I just think they look disgusting on me!

Great choice for your first Butter London! It's sad that the shimmer didn't really translate on the nail, I hate that! But it's a gorgeous colour anyway
