December Nail Art Challenge Week 4: Days 16-22

Day 16 - Metallic
It's no secret that I hate crackle polishes. I don't know what possessed me to decide to use one again, but for some reason, I felt like wearing L.A. Girl Love Notes (a beautiful, slightly shimmery, pastel pink) topped with Sally Hansen's metallic, gold crackle Antiqued Gold.

Day 17 - Match-your-outfit nails
I have these periwinkle-colored silk bed shorts that I love love love, and which made me think of Essie Lapis of Luxury, and in turn, inspired this skittle mani using Essie Lapis of Luxury, Julep Jessica, China Glaze Sweet Hook, and L'Oreal Greycian Goddess.

Day 18 - Inspired by a song
The song that inspired me for these nails is "Ella y él" by Ricardo Arjona. More specifically, the lyric in it ella vende besos en un burdel, or, translated literally, she sells kisses in a whorehouse. Yea... Not as pretty in English. I used the lip print stamp from BM 303, which actually looks nothing like lips once on the nail, and stamped with Zoya Dita over Sally Hansen Ruby Diamond.
And the song that inspired these nails:

Day 19 - Rainbow nails
I finally got my hands on the 2009 Color Club collection Electro Candy, and I love them! So I used all 6 (pink - Electro Candy, yellow - Volt of Light, orange - Tangerine Scream, blue - Pure Energy, green - What a Shock!, and purple - Ultra Violet) for my rainbow nails.

Day 20 - Inspired by an emotion
As soon as I wore this color for my rainbow nails, I had in mind the "inspired by an emotion" nails, and thought this color perfectly represented excitement, happiness, and all of those upbeat, bubbly feelings! Of course, since it is a neon, I can't photograph it for what it's worth, though it is close, but this gem is stunning in person! The best part is the gorgeous shimmer running through it!

Day 21 - Galaxy nails
I fully expected to hate these nails. In fact I went in only half-assing them because I've tried galaxy nails before, and most of the time give up because they're horrible. In fact, I planned on only painting these four nails, taking it off, and doing something else. Immediately after finishing them and getting pictures, though, I ended up going back and doing my left thumb and right hand too because I loved this look so much!

I used China Glaze - Deviantly Daring as the base color, then sponged randomly on top with Sinful Colors 24/7, essence Break Through, Sally Hansen Grass Slipper, and Pixel Turquoise the Noise, then added some glitters from Kleancolor Silver Star, and finished everything off with China Glaze Fairy Dust.

Day 22 - Gradient
My gradient nails were done with a blue, chunky number from Innisfree that has no name.

Don't forget to check out the other beauties done for this challenge!
