Bunny Ears Nails

I loved my pastel Easter bunnies so much, and they were fairly easy to paint, so I wanted to try and salvage a layering disaster and do another mani inspired by everyone's favorite twitchy-nosed, fluffy-tailed, hider of colorful eggs! ^.^

3. Lacquers Like Lace - Golly Grape Gelly
One of my favorite frankens! I especially absolutely love it matted!

This one was so bright and fun, and I just love these four colors together!

Easter Bunnies

The background for these nails are decals from Born Pretty Store which I reviewed earlier this month. On top,  I painted pastel bunnies with acrylic paint.

Pastel Easter Skittles

I know it looks like my topcoat bubbled like crazy, but that's actually just the glitter. That's the only thing I don't like about Snow Globe, the teeny glitters sink and end up looks like a ton of bubbles!

Lacquers Like Lace - Golly Grape Gelly

I love frankening, but I suck at recording recipes! So, from a mix of rainbow glitters and some pinks and purples that I don't remember, comes this beauty!

It has a squishy, jelly finish, with lots of depth!

I matted the two middle fingers and left my pinkie and index finger shiny. I actually love how this looks matted! This is two coats.

Layering Zoya Paloma and Frida

Since I was playing with these two jellies and layering, I decided to try them out by themselves, without glitter. I applied three coats of Paloma, then two of Frida, and one more of Paloma to get this look:

Zoya - Frida

Paloma got her shot in the spotlight, so now it is Frida's turn.

Katherine is the only one of the Gloss Trio that I don't have, but I would like to pick it up with my next order as to complete my collection!

This beauty isn't new in town, but I've been wanting it since it came out, and finally got a hold of a bottle! This is four coats, and every one was so worth it!

Charla & Hollywood Walk of Fame and Sweet & Snow Globe

I was just feeling random with this one. I bought Wet'n'Wild Hollywood Walk of Fame and Sally Hansen Snow Globe and just wanted to test them out immediately, so I slapped on a couple of random Zoyas that were already sitting in front of me and topped them with some fun glitters!

Illamasqua Phallic + China Glaze It's a Trap-eze Heart Accent Nails

Phallic got kind of boring pretty fast. 

I'm not usually big on simple, plain, one-color manis. I always have to spice them up a little!

I went to Sephora looking to buy ONE Illamasqua; However, it took me about half an hour off picking up, photographing, and staring at about a dozen colors, before I finally decided.

Fish Scale Nails

While I was trying to come up with another way to use glitters, I decided on fish scale nails!

White Hearts on Brown - Wedding Nails

I wore Revlon Espresso for a wedding, but wanted to add something simple on top to make it a little cuter. What better type of nail art for a wedding than hearts?!

I have been building up my browns and neutrals, and Espresso has quickly become a favorite! Revlon definitely nailed it with this one!

Zoya - Daul

I have no excuse as to why it took so long for this beauty to fall into my possession! I always wanted to pick it up, but never did just because it is a purple, and we all know my issue with purples.

I went ahead and picked up anyway, and oh am I ever glad I finally did!

Just look at how gorgeous this is!

Spring Kickoff Dotticure

To kick off the official first day of spring, I have a bright, rainbow-ish (minus orange and purple) dotticure!

Zoya - Sienna

Sienna is another one I will have to reswatch.

Normally I'm not a big orange fan, but this one is amazing! It just glows like crazy!

I saw this design on Youtube, though now I can't remember the user. Her nails came out way better, but I really liked the look and gave it a shot, anyway!

Color Club Twiggie and Essence Break Through

I was playing in the untrieds box and since I didn't want to do a one-color, plain mani, I figured these two might look okay together. I love purple and green together so it couldn't come out too terrible!

The green is Color Club Twiggie and the purple is Essence Break Through.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects

I decided to wait until the last minute to photograph these.

Partly because I am lazy, and partly because, when it comes to these strips, there is basically no noticable difference between Day 1 and Day 4.

In fact, I didn't even have much of a difference between Day 4 and Day 8. So you get all Day 4 pics! ^.^

Color Club - Blue-topia

Stains in under 60 seconds. -.- I knew better, but I didn't plan to wear this, but just to swatch quickly. One coat alone with no base or topcoat.

Confetti - Spicy Little Thing

I've had this polish for about a year and never used it. I actually only bought it because it was on sale for $.50. I wasn't super excited bout the color, and I'm not a big fan of pearl-finish polishes. But... as a polish hoarder, we all know too well that the following is more than appropriate...

Born Pretty Store - Loose Hex Glitter Review

I received this set of glitter from Born Pretty Store. It contains 12 different colors of loose, hex glitter in individual pots and retails for $6.45 USD.

Julep - Elizabeth

Hubby helped me make a light box with some of his smaller RGB LED lights and a light board.

It is great because I can just pull whatever amount of red, blue, or green light out that I need to make the polish photograph more color-accurately.

Only problem is, purple polish looks great, but my skin becomes hot pink! Haha!

Hard Candy Blue Glitter

I now own a whopping two Hard Candy polishes! How I haven't acquired more in the last year is a mystery to me! Maybe it is the price to bottle size ratio that I am not fond off.

This one was a single mini boxed as a stocking stuffer that I got for half off after Christmas. So for a whole 50 cents, that's not bad! I do wish I could find a name for it. But I suppose "blue glitter" will suffice for now.

Revlon - Calla Lily

I layered this one over Color Club's Rad Nomad from earlier just to see what it would look like at one and two coats. I ended up actually really liking the combo, though, with Calla Lily at just one coat.

Color Club - Rad Nomad

I used two coats and no topcoat for this one. It was a little difficult to capture because it has such a high gloss shine all on its own, it wanted to reflect everything but direct sunlight washed it out!
