Pineapples

A saw some beautiful pineapple nails over at A Girl and Her Polish almost a year ago, and I fell in love with them! I knew I wanted to recreate them eventually, and I finally got around to it!

For my version, I used Julep's Nina, a bright orange, as my base, and applied Nikki over it to tone it down some.

I had originally stamped the line design from Bundle Monster plate BM310 with Sally Hansen Beachy Keen, but that didn't show up, so I used Zoya's Cola instead, and it was perfect!

I then applied the leaves with a teeny brush and Sally Hansen's Grass Slipper, followed by some sparkle from Zoya's Apple.

I just love how these turned out! They aren't as good as the original design, but they are still pretty cute! ^.^

I really like your version as well, the leaves look very nice with that glitter! Your version is just different, not less good :) I own a yellow polish that smells like pineapple haha :D Too bad it's coverage isn't great...

Thank you! :) I do really like how they turned out! I have a crazy fascination with scented polish, I have about a dozen of them, but no pineapple. That sounds like it would smell awesome!

Thank you! I really didn't think I'd be able to pull them off! Pretty much all I did was stamp them, then add the leaves with a tiny brush! You'd be surprised what you could do, you just have to give it a shot! :)
