Button Nails

Colors Used:
Kleancolor Pastel Teal
China Glaze For Audrey
Julep Marion
Sally Hansen Navy Baby
Sally Hansen Fairy Teal

We're just going to call this one a nail fail and move on! :)

I really wanted to incorporate buttons into a mani. These were the smallest I could find, but I figured maybe I could try and make them work. My patchwork is a mess, and the buttons are gigantic! Bleh! :( Definitely not how I expected it to turn out!

I will definitely have to try this one again in the future to redeem myself. Either with smaller buttons, or hand-painted ones instead, though!

Thanks! I do love the idea. The execution just needs some work!
I think it looks pretty cool!! But just for a picture... handpainting them would be smart, I look forward to see you doing that :)

I like that its 3D, they just need to be a little less 3D!
I love buttons! This is such a great idea! I think it looks awesome but I understand wanting smaller buttons. What did you use to get the buttons to stick? Such a fun look! I look forward to seeing what you end up doing for the next one!

Thanks! :) I just used some super glue to get them to stick. I figured topcoat definitely wouldn't hold them!
OHMG this is sooo cute - love it!

Aww thanks! I think I would have liked it more if the buttons weren't so thick!
