The first theme of Greed week for the Seven Deadly Sins Series is to "go wild and use your most expensive and precious polish".
That was a close one for me because I have one Illamasqua, retailing for $14 USD and one butter LONDON worth $15 USD.
I decided to just use both Illamasqua Phallic and butter LONDON Marrow to create a cloud mani. I wanted each layer to be outlined in white, though, so I put down a cloud of China Glaze White on White before each color.
Another polish I consider to be precious is Leprechaun Farts from 365 Days of Color. I love it because it is LE, has a wonderful name, and is a beautiful glitter that looks great paired with anything. Plus it was my first indie purchase. So I added a very thin coat of it to finish my nails off!
At first, I wasn't sure about adding glitter, but I love how it turned out!
I originally tried this without any white to outline each layer of color, but I didn't like it nearly as much. There wasn't a lot of definition since they are both dark, cool colors.
Phallic is a beautiful, dark blue in the shade, but shimmers and shines in the sun. It is gorgeous!
Marrow is a fun, dusty, dark purple with slight shimmer.
I love them both, and they have rather lovely and unique, but odd and amusing names!
You can see Phallic all by it's lonesome here, and Marrow solo here.
Don't forget to check out what everyone else came up with for the first round of Greed nails!
