Now, I do not recommend using a topcoat with this sort of technique because it melts the sugar and ends up looking awful, but it can be a pretty fun, one-time look!
I used China Glaze Something Sweet as my base color both because being a light pink, it matched my colored sugar, and because with a name like that, it fits this mani perfectly!
I don't really have much to say about these... You can use sugar, salt, or really whatever you want. Poppy seeds, something finer like a ground powder seasoning. Apply it like you would flocking powder, micro beads, and other 3D nail art: just pour it over a wet nail and press it with your finger to make sure it is adhered to the polish.
