Love & Beauty by Forever 21 - Swatch Spam

I don't go to Forever 21 very often because the closest one to me is about an hour away, but the last time I was there, I found some of their polishes on sale for $1 USD a piece and grabbed one of each. I hadn't tried their polishes, but figured I couldn't really go wrong at a buck a pop.

For the most part, they were what I expected: mostly decent, but not the best.

The first of the six I got is so uniquely named Light Aqua. It required two coats for opacity. It was a little sheer and thin at first, but build-able. It had a shiny finish without topcoat and dried at a kind of medium speed. Faster than, say, Kleancolor, but not super quick.

The second color is Seafoam. It was the same as Light Aqua. It required two coats for opacity. It was a little sheer and thin at first, but build-able. It had a shiny finish without topcoat and dried at a pretty average speed, not super fast, but not super slow.

Third is White. I've also shown it at two coats. This one was very sheer, which I expected. Two coats didn't quite make it opaque, but I figured I'd show it at two like the others. It wasn't quite as shiny as the teals on it's own, but it wasn't too bad.

Next is the again so uniquely named Yellow. This one, unlike the previous three or next one, was slightly shimmery. I used three coats of this over white, it was pretty sheer, and had the same dry time as the others. It also had a nice, super shiny finish without topcoat.

Purple Passion also required three coats, with the same dry time, and pretty shine on it's own. This and Seafoam are the only two that actually have somewhat interesting names.

The sixth polish I got is Light Pink. I've shown one coat over Purple Passion in the first two pictures, then four coats over Purple Passion, then built up to four coats all alone.

I don't like this one much as a topcoat, but it is really pretty on it's own even though it needs four coats for opacity!

Last but not least, I was playing around with a two-toned floral look with Love & Beauty Yellow, Purple Passion, White, and L.A. Colors Matte Orange.
