Tea Beauty - Vanilla Petals

Oddly, even though it is a nude, this polish stained my nails pretty badly. I'm totally okay with it, though, because I love it!

Vanilla Petals is a beautiful color that only needs two coats and applies nice and smooth. Plus is smells so delightful! It smells like those off white colored vanilla Tootsie rolls in blue wrapper. Ugh! LOVE! I definitely need to try some more from the brand, if they all smell so yummy and amazing!

I agree, the staining is really weird. But I think scented polishes often "behave" differently to non-scented...

Wow - I have never had a shade like this stain my nails - maybe you need a 2nd coat of your base with this one? I have gotten so I always do 2 coats of my fav base which is Orly Nail Armor - it's one that has a slight milky tint to it and it really seems to cure all the problems I have had with staining even from deep blues, reds and ongoing continued use without a break in the use of polishes on my nails that can discolor my nails (hands and feet both).

I haven't heard of that Orly but it sounds awesome. Usually I could care less about my nails staining, I just thought it was so weird that a nude did it!

Forgot to say...I have been seeing this on display at Walgreen - but not tried a bottle...the display unlkike others there seems to be not disturbed as in folks are not picking it up madly.
