Shark Week 2013 Nails

I keep seeing a lot of awesome Shark Week manis on Instagram, so I gave in and decided to jump on the bandwagon!

For my shark nails, I started out with a base of Color Club Pure Energy. I sponged on top of that with Jesse's Girl Glee, and China Glaze White on White, then added one coat each of Lush Lacquer Bubble Yummy, and Born Pretty Store's blue holo polish that I showed you yesterday. Finally I sponged more Pure Energy to bring back a little bit of the base color and added my waves with watered down white acrylic paint, and the shark silhouettes with black acrylic paint.

I really like how these turned out! They weren't nearly as hard as I had expected them to be!

Thank you! I was able to paint them pretty fast, I was surprised!
So if your nails suddenly are bitten, I know why ;)

Thank you!! :) I didn't expect them to be nearly as quick and simple as they were!
These are way awesome! Love the water effect with the sponging. I'm not a shark week fanatic like so many others, but I really need to at least watch Sharknado!

I'm not either. I was just loving all the shark nails I was seeing so I wanted to paint some myself!! =P
This is sooo cool! I love how you did the waters, and the sharks turned out great too. Really just an awesome mani all-around! :)
