Barielle Review - 60 Second Mani-Pedi Scrub

If you're looking for a scrub that smells so good you could almost eat it, I say go with Barielle! This stuff smells absolutely delightful!! It has got a somewhat citrusy sweet smell. It mostly smells really sweet with a hint of citrus. It is just plain wonderful!!

I have used exfoliating cleansers of all kinds and they are okay, but I really like the extra oomph of a scrub sometimes. So they are nice to have around.

This one doesn't specifically say if you can use it in the shower or not, but I like to use my scrubs in the shower first thing on my cuticles/hands, elbows, and feet. If you're using a scrub in the shower, though, be careful! You'll have slippery feet! They are really oily, and it's just a bit too much for me, so I like to be able to wash some of that extra oil away. There's still plenty of oil left after washing to hydrate. There's a faint scent from the scrub left after a shower, too.

It has the texture of damp sand for the first half of use. Very much like a homemade sugar scrub, but with salt. I like my scrubs to have a slightly more wet sand consistency (this one does but not until it's half used) so this one is just a tad dry for my taste, but the oil in it is very heavy and hearty feeling and it is really hydrating so I'm okay with the consistency and really like it a lot!

I don't use scrubs like this on my face. My face does get dry in spots, but I feel it is way too greasy and would do more harm than it'd be worth. I prefer blackhead scrubs for my face.

Overall, I am a big fan of this scrub! It is a huge 12oz tub packed full of product. It is a little on the high end at $25.00 USD, and I seem to have been going through it rather quickly (I've used about 1/2 of the tub doing my hands, feet, and elbows four times); but it is nice.

If you want to pamper yourself and splurge a little, I say pick up a tub of this scrub. Like a scrub should, it does leave your skin feels smooth and moisturized!
