Twinsie Tuesday - Summer Lovin'

I went more literal with this theme. For today's mani, I started with OPI Need Sunglasses? (perfect summer polish name, right?!), then did a semi glitter gradient kind of look on top with Polish Me Silly (previously Lush Lacquer) Summer Lovin.

Small side note/rant: I've discussed this privately with a fellow nail friend, but I've never addressed it publicly: I know some people are smitten with the brand, and to each their own, but I do not like Polish Me Silly (Lush Lacquer). I have many reasons. First and foremost, I experienced the absolute worst customer service that I ever have in my life when I ordered this polish and a few others from them last year. I won't go much into detail, but they never answered my messages, then didn't ship my polishes after they were marked as shipped, then refused to refund me when I was tired of waiting for my order, and it took over a month before my package arrived.

Issue #2, their quality is junk. Their suspension base doesn't suspend; the glitters all sink after only a couple of weeks, a lot of their glitters bleed (which happened with this particular polish, the white glitters in there all bled and turned white), they take forever to dry, and they are too thick. I could go on and on.

Overall quality of the brand ««««« (and that's only because I am feeling generous)

Anyway, with the glitters in this polish having bled, I just wasn't really loving this mani, so I decided to add a quick floral stamp on top to make it a little more summery! I used Born Pretty Store's black stamping polish and Bundle Monster plates BM313 and BM318.

After the stamping, I am pretty happy with out this manicure turned out!
