Mommy's Mani Monday - Combined Styles

I've got a ton of posts scheduled for the upcoming couple of weeks (I'm predicting two but it could be more) because *super excited face* I'm moving! What am I most excited about? I'm getting my own polish room!!

So while I am out doing all that, I probably won't be around much, but my posts will still be coming up!

The first of those is our Mommy's Mani Monday for July!

This month's theme is Combined Styles - using one technique or something you dislike, together with something you love.

I love marbles of all sorts and gradients, so I started out with a drag marble and stripey gradient using Pretty Woman Watermelon, Avon Serene, and Avon Rebel Rose.

For my dislike, I ruined the whole thing by adding a coat of China Glaze Black Mesh crackle polish, because crackle polish can destroy anything! >.<

Gorgeous marble! I'll have to look up drag marble to see if it's something I'd have more success at than a water. You're so good at these things :) I'm totally with you on the crackle, especially black crackle. I never owned one, never will, and I feel safe in saying that, lol.

Thanks!! ^.^ I did like crackle when they first came out! But I'm over it now.

You should try a drag marble, though, they're fool proof! Apply a thick base color and immediately put a few dots of other colors on it and swirl them around with a thin brush or dotting too!

I love these! The dry water marble you did is so pretty and that gradient stripes went really well wit it. I like the crackle on top of everything too.

wooooooah, A NAIL POLISH ROOM?!?!?!?!?! That's crazy, I LOVE IT! Also, that color combination is gorgeous! Definitely planning on trying it out!
