Rainbow Whale Print - Bestie Twin Nails - Untriedicure #12

So I discovered this super cute little whale phone background image, and it inspired me to do whale nails! I've never seen whale print nails done before, so I thought I'd give them a shot!

I'd been staring into my untrieds polish box for an hour looking for inspiration, and decided to just pull a bunch of them out to create rainbow whales!

I started off with a Pure ICE Shore Bet background, and used 12 other colors for the whales:

Orange - Wet'n'Wild Cursed

Royal Blue - Revlon Superstitious

All topped with Ciate Mattnificent

The next day, my BFF came over for a pre-vaca mani, and loved my whales, so I recreated them on her!

Although sometime between my late-night manicure and her next-day afternoon mani, my matte topcoat went haywire, cracking and destroying some of my whales. :\

I didn't really like this design at first, but the more I look at them, the more they grow on me! ^.^
