Black Holo Foil Nails




Doesn't that look so awesome?! 

It's this nail foil (#76) from Born Pretty Store. Let's see how it looks on the nail....

For my "swatch", I left the foil plain on my index and middle nails, and added one coat of Seche Vite to my ring finger and pinky.


Without topcoat.

With topcoat.


As you can see, the topcoat clouded up the foil, giving more of a smokey blue look to it (which I think still looks really cool!), and minimizing the holo effect.

They look good! I have to give my nail foils a try now. I have some but have yet to use them.

that foil looks awesome! I hate how they loose the effect with topcoat though :(

Usually mine don't get messed up so I don't know why this one is different. I still kind of like the effect with topcoat too though.
