I started with this amazingly gorgeous base of Drip Drop Nail Paint's A'Hoye Amy, then used various mixtures of a few different polishes and paints for my sea monster.
For today's nails, our inspiration needed to be something unusual.
Nail artists are inspired by fabric, art, prints, etc. all the time. This week the Twinsies are finding something off-the-wall instead!
I just so happen to be obsessed with making polish dragon eggs, and ended up loving the polish I put on one so much, that I wanted to wear it on my nails too!
Today is another MMM! This week the theme is to do a mani inspired by your child's Halloween costume.
My daughter chose her costume this year, and she wanted to be a pig. Of course everything is better in rainbow form, though, so I did five different colored piggies instead of making them all pink!
Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme entails marking something (anything - a certain style, color, brand, etc.) off the polish to-do list. Something I have been wanting to try is the scaled gradient, so that's what I went with today!
Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me! La lala la la lala!
Anyway.... I didn't do a fancy mani for today, but instead I am sharing an old one. I'd been playing with sandwiching Formula X glitters and Zoya jellies, but ended up liking the end product, so I thought it'd be worth posting!
I love how cute and surprisingly easy quatrefoil (not "quat-ra-foil", don't listen to MJF, she has no idea what she's talking about most of the time; it's "cat-er-foil") prints are! I wanted to try it out but couldn't decide on a color combo, so I just did lots of colors!
It's Twinsie Tuesday again! Our prompt was to grab a few polishes at random and make them work together in a mani. I decided on a water marble (that I think vaguely resembles a starfish).
