To kick off October, I have swatches of Barielle's entire new Fall 2014 collection Me Coutour!
This collection is full of rich, dusty cremes (one hidden shimmer), and are all absolutely gorgeous!
The consistency of all six polishes was smooth and easily workable, with average dry time.
For starters:
Taupe Notch
This is a beautiful, medium, almost purple-toned grey. This polish was opaque in two coats and it had a nice, shiny finish.
Berry Posh
This is a pretty fuchsia pink - the perfect shade of pink for Fall! This one was an oddball, it took three coats to reach opacity.
The next polish.... Oh the beauty! This one was my favorite from the collection!
Moda Bleu
This baby is what we call a one-coater! And I am smitten! It is a fabulous, dark, rich, creamy (more crelly really), smooth.... you get the point.... sultry gem of a polish! It was absolutely perfect in every way!
See?! Ugh!!
Okay, onward.
Soho at Night
This one is a dark, dusty, grape creme that is opaque in two coats. I think this one would be universally flattering on any skin tone!
Boho Chic
When I think of Fall, this is one of the main types of colors that come to mind: A dark and dusty hunter green, semi-teal creme. This one is definitely perfect for the season! Also opaque in two coats.
Last but not least, this is the only polish from the collection that has a slight hidden shimmer to it:
Vintage Gown
I love nudes, and this caramel goodness is beautiful! The golden shimmer shows in the bottle at certain angles, but not so much on the nail (except, oddly, in a macro shot from a water marble I used it in that I'll show you tomorrow). This one was also opaque in two coats.
So what's your favorite from the collection? Clearly, I am a sucker for Moda Bleu! Barielle saw me coming!
