Palm Trees (Again) on Nontraditional Metallics

If feels like I've done palm tree nails a billion and a half times (click here to see them all)! Including this mani, I've done 12; and actually 13, I still have one in the vault I've yet to post!

Today's mani is for Day 22 "favorite design" of #NailArtJan, so of course I chose palm trees!

For this mani, I used L.A. Girl Metal polishes in purple and green. I'm not sure if these ever had actual names or if the stickers fell off. They've sat, unused, in my destash box for at least a year now. I decided to pull them out and at least try them before finding them new homes. Unfortunately, they're going to have to stay with me now. But I'm glad I didn't give them away before using them! I realized I don't have another metallic purple or metallic green, and they can come in handy!

Between the two is an attempt at somewhat of a golden, setting sun ish thing, using Broadway Natural Bronze. I used black acrylic paint for the palm trees, island, and birds.

The metallic colors you used adds such a nice quality and uniqueness to this manicure.

The metallic base is so cool - such a difference to all the sunset type palm tree manis we usually see.
