Mommy's Mani Monday: Birthday Theme - Rainbow Stripes Water Marble

For today's Mommy's Mani Monday, the group did manis based on one of their kids' past birthday party themes. My daughter's first birthday theme was rainbow, so I rainbow'ed out my nails!

I mean c'mon. I've only done rainbow nails a gajillion times (see here), and every chance I get to give something a rainbow theme, I do it. Clearly I'm a fan of the rainbows, so it's no wonder I would take this opportunity to do 'em again!

I started with a base of OPI Did You 'Ear about Van Gogh? on my middle two nails, and topped that with two coats of Color Club Neon Static. I'm not typically a big fan of bar or string glitters, but I am crazy about this polish, oddly! As we've already established, I like rainbows. So any polish that contains a rainbow is going to be right up my alley!

The water marble consists of China Glaze Shower Together and Wicked Style, Bonita Melon Bar, Zoya Arizona and Anais, and Sally Hansen White On.

I'm excited to see what all the other moms did for this week's theme! As always, be sure to check out the #MommysManiMonday tag on instagram, or the MMM page (here) for everyone's birthday themed nails!

Thanks!! I almost never like bar glitters, but I can't hate anything in rainbow!
Hi Amber, somehow, putting the bar/string glitter over a nude base makes it more palatable to this kindred-spirit "hater" of those kinds of glitters. It looks more like confetti, which is good, than a mistake, which is what I generally don't like about them.

Thanks! I'm not a big fan of bar and string glitters either. Since they're in rainbow form though, I love them!
