Twinsie Tuesday: Pinterest Inspiration - Paisley Drag Marble

This week for Twinsie Tuesday, we searched Pinterest to find inspiration for our manis.

All I know is my mani is absolutely not up for discussion today!

See?!

I kept putting off today's mani: Oh I have a whole week to get that done.... Eh I have the weekend.... Well I can do it real quick Monday afternoon. I just finished this mani seven hours ago. >.< Oops!

Since I was up so late getting this post finished, I decided to go for an easy mani recreation, and chose this pin.

Apparently I am not capable of dragging three dots of polish. I didn't really like the tiny dot clusters I started out with on my index nail, so I began making bigger ones. Then I didn't really like having just a couple paisley.... things.... per nail, so I kept adding more of them in an attempt to either fix the whole thing or completely ruin it. I did the latter. Obviously. Then my blue kept going all funky and bleeding into the other colors because this super simple design wasn't already enough of a pain in my butt.

On my thumb, I just randomly sponged and mixed these six colors, with dots of my off-white base on top.

I didn't want to show up to the party empty-handed, though, so here she be.

All the polishes I used in this:
Base: Zoya Jacqueline
Pink: Sinful Colors Come Hither
Green: Barielle Irish Eyes
Blue: Revlon Royal
Gold: Sally Hansen Coin Flip
Red: OPI Cajun Shrimp
Yellow: American Apparel Manila

I'mma just go take this disasticure off now and head to bed. Go check out what everyone else in the group did; I can guarantee every one of them Trumps mine! See ya bright and early Tuesday later this morning!

I love the colours. The base polish is gorgeous! I am in love with that colour.

Thank you! I've never found another polish the same color that's opaque so I try to only use it sparingly, but I think I may need a backup or two because it's 1/4 gone and it's one of my favorites!
At least you are brave enough to post something that doesn't quite go as planned! Brava!

Honestly every single time I pull this polish out, I think of you! Lol!
Even though it didn't turn out they way you wanted it to, I still think it looks nice. It reminds me of abstract artwork.

Thank you! :) I think I may have liked it more if I'd used different colors.
For a last minute mani, you knocked it out of the park!

Haha! Thank you so much!
Thanks! :) Normally I love drag marbling, so I figured it would be a breeze!
I would not call this a disaster, it looks like artwork!
