Today I have another new-to-me polish brand review to share.
I was contacted and asked to try a trio of Nail Glam by Jovee Co. polishes. They are a 5-Free brand made in the U.S.A.
I received one of their monthly subscription boxes, so that's what I'll be showing you today: a swatch of each polish, and a water marble nail art accented with 3D seashells and pearls at the end.
For starters, the box is girly and pretty! It is a really unique setup and display for the bottles, plus there is a fun quote on the bottom. I'm not sure if this is the box style every month, but I really like how creative it is as opposed to a couple polishes just wrapped in bubble wrap and tossed in a plain box with some packing peanuts.
Now let's get into the swatches and nail art! All swatches are shown with a coat of Seche Vite topcoat for a high-gloss finish.

The first polish is a bright, hot pink crelly (semi sheer but creamy). It was a tad sheer like a jelly, but had good coverage. It looked great at two coats with just a little vnl (a.k.a. visible nail line), so I used three for complete opacity.
Polished dried to a semi matte, rubberized finish, but dried quickly. It was very smooth and fluid. Easy to work with and a great application.

This bright, teal blue jelly was the sheerest of the bunch. It needed four coats for complete coverage, and dried to that same semi matte finish as the previous one. It also dried quickly.
The formula of this one was watery thin; it easily flooded my cuticles if I wasn't careful. Regardless of applying my coats of polish as thin as possible, this polish bubbled easily but it wasn't terrible. Fortunately the brush was soft and made application easier.

Finally, my favorite from the bunch. This one has a beautiful, soft, silver shimmer in a fuchsia base. The shimmer is faint, but gives the polish a nice sheen.
The formula of Sneakers or Stilettos was thin but very smooth despite the shimmer. It dried semi matte and needed three coats for full opacity.
And, of course, the fun nail art I promised using these polishes:
I did a stripey water marble over a white base on two nails, but thought it needed a little something more, so I added a silver seashell and three pearls along the side of each plain-colored nail.
