Twinsie Tuesday: Splatter - Spilled Strawberry Milk

For today's Twinsie Tuesday, I wanted to get creative with the splatter theme. I didn't want to make a huge mess with the traditional splatter technique or do the overdone hand-painted rainbow splatter. I was still wearing my "shimmer" themed mani from last week of CDB Lacquer Passionate, and happened to be putting away a pastel pink I'd used in a previous design (It looked cute against the brighter pink on my nails, too!), when the idea suddenly hit me. My daughter was in the room with her V8 smoothie juice that looks like strawberry milk and had asked for a refill.... And the spilled milk look was born!

I used the bubble technique to give the glass a sheer look, and acrylic paint for the strawberry milk.

I really love how this one turned out, it is fun and different!
