I'm excited to announce that MTL Creations sent me her fall collection to swatch, and I'll be sharing those swatches today!
I've shown all polishes without topcoat and all dry to a semi-gloss finish.
Tree Hugger
The first polish is a pretty, taupey brown that was nearly opaque in a single coat! I did two to cover a few small patches where I'd been a bit too heavy handed. The formula was thick, aiding in opacity, but I did have to apply my coats on the thicker side for even coverage. I got a couple bubbles on my thumb but only because I didn't wait for my first coat to dry long enough. Though it was very creamy, and dried fairly quickly. Tree Hugger self-leveled and smoothed itself out really well!
Goodbye Summer Sunset
This one was a three-coat coral crelly. It had a thicker formula, and was a little difficult to apply evenly, but it is an absolutely beautiful summer to fall transitional color! It is bright but slightly dusty, I love it!
Harvest Moon
Harvest Moon is similar to Goodbye Summer Sunset, but more of a dusty, burnt orange. It had a much thinner formula and was very easy to apply. It was a crelly formula and dried quickly! It needed three coats for opacity but I almost could have gotten away with two.
Crimson Kisses
This beautiful, brick red jelly was one of my favorites from the collection! As a jelly it was sheer, needing three thin coats to be opaque. It dried fast and nearly applied itself! I'm head over heels for the rustic color of this one!
Black to Basics
Last but not least, a three-coat black jelly. It had the same easy formula as Crimson Kisses and is a fabulous polish!
Overall, I enjoyed every one of these polishes! They are beautiful fall colors, vampy and gorgeous!
The collection releases at the end of next week!
