The Digit-al Dozen does Recreations: Taco Nails - Day 1

This week, the Digit-al Dozen'ers are recreating fellow DD members' manis that we've loved!

My first attempt at flattery: a taco mani I fell in love with during last month's food theme!

Mine look more like taco bowls or some kind of funky scoop of ice cream or something.... but I tried. Click here to see what mani I recreated!

I mostly used acrylic paint for this look, but used Sinful Colors V.I.Peach for the cheese and Sally Hansen Lightning for the base color of the taco shells. I added a matte topcoat, and just when everything was almost dry, poked and picked at the meat area to make it look more like authentic ground beef.

I'm excited to see what everyone else did for the first days of recreations!
