Rainbow Splatter with Camouflaged Bats: A Weekly Dose of Rainbows Premiere Post

If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember me mentioning starting a weekly themed rainbow mani group in addition to the massive rainbow IG collabs I do. Well, the little group is finally all organized, and today we are posting our first rainbow themed nails!

We started off the group posting with splatter. I hate doing splatter.

No, I hate the mess! I covered my fingers all the way to my second knuckle with latex paint, but still managed to get polish all over my palm, rings, and even between my fingers! I think it took longer to clean up than it took to blow polish all over myself!

So for this splattered base look, I started with OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh?, and splattered eight other colors on top: OPI Hey Baby (pink), NYC Spring Street (orange), Ulta Sun-sational (yellow), Salon Perfect Go Granny Apple (green), Nail Glam Male Model (teal), Piggy Paint #1355 which is a Tiffany blue color, Salon Perfect Plum Sorbet (fuchsia), and Sinful Colors Truth or Lavendare.

Since it is Halloween, there's no better time for bats, right?! I wanted to go for a camouflaged look, and put some various colored bat glitters from Ellagee over my splatter so they would blend in but kind of stand out if you look close and know what to look for!

To see what the rest of the group did for our premier post, check out the #AWeeklyDoseofRainbows tag on Instagram, and if you're interested in joining, just let me know!

Even though the mess was awful to clean up, the end result looks awesome! Love your rainbow splatter a ton.
