More Halloween polish? Yes, please!
Today I have swatches of Leesha's Lacquer's 2015 Halloween collection. It consists of five beautiful polishes perfect for the whole fall season! The collection releases in just two days (October 23rd), so mark those calendars!
I've been really happy with Leesha's creations, and this collection is my favorite yet! For every polish, I only used one or two coats!
The Pumpking
First up is a white crelly base with various orange and black glitters. A nice, thin formula, but opaque in two coats. It had good glitter coverage, and needed a single coat of Seche for a smooth finish.
I like the muted tone of this one, it makes for a pretty Halloween, but not-so-in-your-face-Halloween polish.
Witches Brew
Not being the biggest fan of purple polishes, my love for this one really surprised me! Again, beautiful in two coats with an easy formula! This one has a gorgeous glowy sparkle, and a little bit of a shift to it. It's fantastic!
2 Spoopy 4 Me
I love this glitter topper! It is probably my favorite of the collection. It feels so whimsical with the lighter colors and circle glitters. This is a really fun one! I wore just one coat over Witches Brew.
I didn't have to do any fishing to get the glitters out, I got a good amount of glitter in one dip of the brush, though the circles did tend to try and clump together on the nail if I didn't work quick enough.
Magic Masquerade
Magic Masquerade has a fantastic texture to it and it is gorgeous! I only needed two coats, the micro glitter base offered great coverage! The mix of purple and red in such a dark base is really fun and different too!
I wore this one solo and with topcoat, to show it gritty and grungy, plus more sparkly and smooth. I can't decide which way I like it better, but it just plain mesmerizing on the nail with all that squishy, glittery, depth to it!
Hocus Pocus
The final polish is a dense glitter in an array of great autumn colors. I thought it was going to be more sheer than it was, so I layered one coat over Sinful Colors Beaches and Cream, but it would have been beautiful at two or three coats on its own too!
The glitter mix in this one is again an interesting one. To me, it looks like a sultry fall spice mixture! Dark and peppery with hints and specks of iridescent glitter, showing bits of pink and green to break up the color scheme. I love this one! It is pretty much the epitome of fall in a bottle!
Overall, this is a wonderful collection! The formulas were all great to work with, I didn't have major issues with any of the polishes, and I really enjoyed each of them!
