40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Cartoons and Comics

This week's Crumpet's challenge theme is cartoons and comics. While I'm not huge into comics, but have seen every episode of Curious George 80 times thanks to my child, I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for my mani! I ended up going with a fun pop art look because when I think of comic books, one of the main things I think of are the action bursts.

For my design I used the three primary colors: Sally Hansen Lightening, Julep Myriam, and Salma Hayek Nuance in Blue Agave, with Pro Nail Lacquer Lady in White and The Little Black Dress for my dots and outlines.

Don't forget to visit the challenge hashtags on Instagram to see what everyone else did this week too!

This is the first blog post I've seen using Salma Hayek polishes. Great artwork.

Thank you! I had a coupon for one Salma Hayek product so I figured I'd try a polish. I like this one!
Super cute and fun!
