Today I have some swatches from Lucky Lacquer. She sent me three beautiful glitters to try out!
They come in the cutest packaging - cellophane bags with polka dots and bows!
Silvermist
The first polish I tried was Silvermist. It is a blue jelly base packed with various sizes of silver and holo hex glitters. I wore this one over a white base rather than trying to build it up solo, to show the color of the base. I needed two coats and one of topcoat. The blue tinted base was perfectly smooth and even, and it wasn't topcoat-hungry at all!
Ariel
Next up is Ariel. She was pretty much identical to Silvermist, but in a red jelly base. I used two coats over white, and had a smooth, easy application, with just one thick coat of Seche Vite on top. The red base is on the cooler side (but in some lights it looks warm, so I can't decide which it really is!) and it looks so fantastic with the holo popping out!
Snow White
Since Snow White is in a clear base, I decided to go for a glitter gradient with this one. I used Parrot Polish Mini Mint as my base color. It was a little difficult to achieve the glitter gradient look because this polish is so full of glitter (not complaining!). I couldn't get as sparse of placement as I wanted at the cuticles. I dabbed on a thick coat at the tips for more glitter, and finished off with a coat of Seche Vite.
Overall, I'm thrilled with the three polishes she sent! They did seem to dry a little on the slower side, but all three applied great! They were even, I didn't have to do a ton of manipulating to make the glitter go where I wanted it, I didn't have to do any fishing for glitters at all, and they just sparkle like crazy!
Lucky Lacquer also does some stunning cremes, gorgeous micro glitters, and chunky glitters - the whole range! I definitely recommend checking out her Etsy to see them for yourself!
