Lightning Bolt Nails: A Tribute to David Bowie

In honor of David Bowie, I wanted to break out the ever-so-appropriate Ziggy Stardust from Ellagee. When I saw it in her shop just before Halloween, I had to jump on it and snag a couple bottles for myself and my BFF! I hate that it took me four months to finally wear it, and of course the reason for finally wearing it, but I'm glad I got it when I did!

I sponged the scattered holo gold base over Revlon Gold Coin since it is rather sheer, then fished the lightning bolt glitters out to place more precisely. 

No Bowie mani would be complete without a messy, abstractish, grungy accent bolt! I used Sinful Colors Energetic Red, Sally Hansen Brisk Blue, and Pro Nail Lacquer The Little Black Dress for my rendition of Bowie's infamous face art.
