The Digital-Dozen New & Improved: Day 1 - Scalloped Stripes

For my first Digit-al Dozen design of the new year, I decided to try out the scalloped stripes look since we are doing "new and improved" week.

I've seen some beautiful versions of this design, and really it is just dots, so how hard can it be?!

Since they're my favorite, I went with all blues:
Parrot Polish The Lioness of Brittany
Julep Char
Dermelect Fearless
Sally Hansen Quick Jeanius
Sally Hansen Pacific Blue

Apparently creating rows of dots is actually a giant pain.... So there's my two cents. I guess it isn't the worst thing I've ever done, but I doubt I'll be opting for this type of look again!

I love the look of the scalloped stripes but I've always been afraid to try because it looks like it would be so tricky and time consuming to line the dots up just right. I think these turned out great though :) loving the blue color palette!

Thank you! That was what killed it for me, lining the dots up. I think straight horizontal stripes then dot the edges for next time.
I've done scallop stamping, does that count? I guess a technique I should...or shouldn't add to my own list!

Hahaha! Scallop stamping sounds like such an easier task to accomplish!
I've done this technique before and swore that I'd never do it again because it took forever haha. Yours turned out great though!!

Thank you!! I'm sure I'll give it one more shot eventually but not anytime soon, I'm still too mad at it hahaha!
I actually really like how it turned out! I can't imagine this being easy though. Definitely writing down this technique so i can try it out myself sometime.

Thank you!! If I do it again, I'll do the horizontal stripes solid first, I think that would make the dots more even.
