The Digital-Dozen does Nail Heroes: Day 3 - Black & Gold Color Block and Negative Space Mani

Nail Heroes Day 3 goes to my other main chick, Anna

I actually met Anna through Catherine (see yesterday's Digit-al Dozen post) and she's now my go-to "Can I Facetime you? I'm at the store and I need wine, I don't know crap about wine so tell me what to get!!" main chick." Clearly I'm just lacking in all areas of etiquacy. My life would be stupid boring without these two!

Basically the three of us just group text and chat all day long whether it be complaining about work, sending mani pics, food pics, videos of a husband's oddly inherent skills to know movie plot lines while dead asleep (I still find this both hilarious and fascinating), drunk texts about bunny statues sharing your beer, outfit recommendations, Netflix recommendations, wine (there's a lot of wine), or pictures of my child's horrifically fantastic non-matching shoe choices for a laugh.... I'd go on but I think you get the point. I had to show my love for Anna this week too, so I spent a century browsing her IG and finally settled on this design to recreate.

If Anna doesn't do stamping in a mani, we worry she may be ill! But I don't own nearly as many stamping plates, plus I love negative space manis, and this one really called to me!

I used Essie Better Together for a sheer wash of color, then sponged Daily Hues Nail Lacquer Noelle over China Glaze Mega Bite for a nice and opaque gold holo. The black is Pro Nail Lacquer The Little Black Dress.

So to a wonderful bestie who keeps inspiring me to go to the gym because I've been lazy for a week and she just killed a two-hour workout, who keeps it real, and makes me laugh daily - XOXOXO!
