40 Great Nail Art Ideas: Red & Orange Zigzags with Cacti

This week's 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge theme was to use three shades of red/orange, plus my individual prompt was zigzags, so I went with gradiating chevron stripes.

I used various mixes of a few red, orange, and yellow polishes for my look:

• LOOK Rocket's Red Glare
• Sally Hansen All Fired Up
• Sally Hansen Firey Island
• China Glaze Home Sweet House Music
• Color Club Almost Famous

Then I added some cacti silhouettes with black acrylic paint and a matte topcoat because the colors just felt hot and deserty to me!
