The Digit-al Dozen does Gradients: Reciprocal Flowers

For my third gradient+ mani of Digit-al Dozen week, I did a fun floral reciprocal gradient.

I started with a base gradient of Sally Hansen Digi-Teal (blue) and Gigabryte (yellow), then sponged the same gradient into a long strip on my silicone mat. Once the strip was dry, I peeled it off and used a flower shaped hole punch along the center of the gradient strip, which I then placed on each nail in the opposite direction of the base gradient.

I got a little lazy and stuck a gradient flower cutout on a plain yellow base on my thumb, and I almost wish now I'd just done that as a full mani, but the reciprocal look still turned out pretty cute! It was pretty fun too; I'm loving the shaped hole punches for nail art!

That's it for me today. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out everyone else's Wednesday gradients too!
