Born Pretty Store sent me some of their new chevron striping tape to try out and I've got to say, I love this stuff!
It is not necessarily cheaper than nail vinyls, (that would require too many measurements and math though it is currently on sale for $1.59 USD per roll!) but I like being able to customize my length of tape, and it gives crisp, sharp lines! The lines could stand to be sharper for my personal taste, but I'm a fan of this style of chevron too. The tape has a paper backing, so it can be more of a pain, which I wasn't expecting, but I will definitely get a lot of use out of this! I always seem to run out of chevron vinyls in a matter of months, and the DIY pinking sheer chevrons with tape just don't cut it for me, so I'm thrilled to have this roll of chevron tape in my nail art arsenal!
I used two blues for my design: Sally Hansen Carry on Blue and China Glaze One Track Mind.
