Sally Hansen - Voyager Collection: My Picks

Press Sample
Today I have a few polishes from Sally Hansen's new Voyager collection.

The whole collection looks pretty, but I picked what I thought would be my three favorites: obviously blue because I can't stop, and a unique brick red sort of color. So let's get into the swatches!

Carry on Blue
A beautiful sky blue creme opaque in two coats! I adore this one: fab formula, perfectly smooth application, and quick dry time.

Tawny Travels
I don't own any other polish quite like this one. It is a nice burnt/brick red creme, also opaque in two coats. I'm not a big red fan, but I enjoy how unique the color of this one is! Plus it'll be a handy go-to for fall since it is so rich and dusty.

Take the Plunge
The final of my picks is a gorgeous navy that was nearly opaque in one coat! I did two thin, but probably could have gotten away with just one if I'd done a thicker coat. It is hard to choose a favorite, but I think this one might be it for me!

Which is your favorite? Do you plan on picking anything up from the collection?

Thanks for stopping by!

I picked up Tawny Travels on clearance just to try out the Miracle Gel line and, while it's not a color I would normally pick, I ended up loving it once it was on my nails! I did return it though because, even after using HK Girl, it was still dentable a full 24 hours later! Does it only work with the Miracle Gel top coat?

I had a bottle of one of their royal blue colors years ago and had so many issues with it never wanting to dry. Every other color I've tried as been fine though. So it makes me wonder if their batches aren't inconsistent or something. Seche Vite is pretty much the only topcoat I use, but all the ones I've tried recently have dried even with no topcoat at all. When I posted about the one polish on IG years ago they gave me a runaround answer and wanted to send me a crappy coupon so I didn't bother using the Miracle Gels for a long time. I assumed they'd reformulated and improved them since then but apparently not.
Yeah, my bottle did come from a clearance bin so who knows, it might have been a bad batch. I'm glad to hear that they will (typically) dry with topcoat other than the Miracle Gel top coat. I might try it out again if I find a color I like. :)
I think clearance is definitely the way to go. I wouldn't pay full price for them, especially since they can be so finicky. Good luck! I hope you can get them to work for you.
beautiful swatches!
