I have a couple of nail designs for the Superbowl today! Sally Hansen has fun color combos to show your team spirit that I used for some simple nail art inspired by each team today.
For the first look, I used three of their Miracle Gel polishes for the Patriots. I did vertical stripes with Redgy and Midnight Mod, then added a silver star to the corner of each nail with Rock On. The cremes were so nice and pigmented, and very smooth to work with!
Redgy is more on the coral side but is a beautiful, bright color. While Midnight Mod covered fantastically in a single coat and isn't so dark that is just looks black, which I love about it! The silver is a fun, unique metallic loaded with tiny black glitters that make it look speckled.
To make both designs even more festive, I used Zoya Cola, OPI You Don't Know Jacques!, and white acrylic paint to add a football accent on my ring nail.
Representing the Falcons, my second mani features Sally Hansen's amazing one-coat red creme Red My Lips from the Complete Salon Manicure line, which I matted, then added contrasting shiny black dots with the Insta-Dri shade Black to Black. It turned out so vivid and bold, you can never go wrong mixing matte and shiny finishes!
So who are you rooting for today? I won't be watching, but these looks were fun to create, and I just love that blue and coral striped pairing!
