The Digit-al Dozen does the Continents: Mt. Everest

This month the Digit-al Dozen is doing a week of manis inspired by the different continents. After doing a little research, I thought a recreation of Mt. Everest would be appropriate for Asia, being the highest mountain in the world, it is a pretty big deal. See my inspiration image for this mani here.

I used a no-name royal blue polish from Deb for my base, gradienting (gradiating? whatever, I'm going with it) the blue downward with a little bit of white. The mountains were pretty fun to paint! I splotched on a mix of Rica Whiteout and Wet'n'Wild Echo Dark, layering, creating some brush strokes, generally just going for the look of snow-covered peaks. The bottom right corner of the darker mountain on my middle nail is my absolute favorite part, that area in particular ended up looking so neat!

Check out everyone else's fun continental manis in the InLinkz below!

THE mountain....the head honcho! :) Although if you go to Hawaii they claim their mountain is actually taller since they count from the sea floor.hahaha

That's interesting, I didn't know that. I also didn't know they had non-volcano mountains haha!
